Training session: Introduction to QM’s VLE

Question MarkIf you are just starting out with the central College virtual learning system (VLE), Blackboard, or you are wondering about what it might have to offer, you might be interested to know about our “Introduction to QM’s Virtual Learning Environment” session which is taking place this Wednesday afternoon.

The session is aimed at staff who are interested in how they might use the VLE to deliver teaching or training, either as a complement to face-to-face teaching or for distance learning. Topics covered will include:

  • What the purpose of a VLE is
  • How the particular central VLE at QM works
  • The types of tool that are available in the VLE and how they can be used

The session does have an educational focus and is not intended to be an IT training session.
