Facilities

The E-learning Studio is equipped with a variety of hardware and software.

The main room contains an interactive whiteboard (Promethean) and standard data projector. There is also a document visualiser. There is a ceiling mounted camera and microphones meaning activities taking place in the room can be easily recorded if required.

The main room contains 8 PCs and 2 Apple Macintosh computers all of which have headsets and webcams. All computers have standard software on them including different web browsers and Microsoft Office. Certain computers have more specialist software installed. One of the Apple Macintosh computers is also equipped with a graphics tablet and software for advanced media editing work.

The annex room has one PC, also equipped with a microphone and webcam. It has a copy of Camtasia Studio installed specifically for screencasting.

There is also a printer and a scanner in the room.

We also have a variety of classroom technologies such as a portable interactive whiteboard, an audience voting system and two Flip video cameras.
