15 February 2010	Reminder: Blackboard offline from 5pm tonight This is a reminder that Blackboard will be offline from 5pm tonight (Monday 15th February) to 12 noon tomorrow (Tuesday 16th February) so the new database servers can be put in. This is part of the VLE upgrade project which will improve the responsiveness and capacity of the system.	VLE Service Announcements
25 January 2010	Assessment tool problems resolved Blackboard is now back online and problems that occurred earlier today with the Assessment (quiz) tool have now been resolved. Apologies once again for any inconvenience that may have been caused.	VLE Service Announcements
	Blackboard unavailable for a short time from 17.30 this evening Blackboard will be unavailable for around half an hour from 17.30 this evening (Monday 25th January). 	Problem with Turnitin There is currently an issue with Turnitin assignments in Blackboard. Creating a new assignment or attempting to access an existing one will result in the error message “Failed to configure the proxy tool learning object”.
